What you’ll need:
*Popsicle molds with handles/popsicle sticks
*Blender or Magic Bullet
*3 to 4 fruits of your choice (for this recipe please have a chunk of watermelon available as it’s the main part of the popsicle)*
The Fruits I chose for this recipe were:
*5-6 Strawberries Sliced
1/2 Peach Sliced
2 Kiwi Peeled and Sliced
2 chunks of Watermelon (enough to put in the blender and puree to make about 1 1/2 cups of juice)
(My recipe yields about 4-6 large square popsicle molds. You’ll want to play this recipe by eye. You can always start off with a small amount of fruit and add more as you go.)
Take a couple slices of each fruit and drop them into the Popsicle Molds.
Take the chunks of watermelon and put them into the blender. Liquify the chunks of watermelon. This will act as the base of your popsicles.
Pour the Watermelon Puree into the Popsicle Molds on top of the Fruit.
Add the Popsicle Sticks into the molds.
After these delicious Real Fruit Popsicles are frozen, you’ll want to run the molds under hot water for about 30 seconds to a minute or until the popsicles come loose. Once you get them out, Enjoy!
I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at a store bought popsicle the same. Even my husband and 2 year old enjoyed them!
