What parent testers had to say:
My toddler loves his KidFit Pillow, from the moment it was pulled out of the package his head was on it. He takes his pillow wherever he goes in the house to lay down or just to use it as a head rest while watching TV or playing with his tablet. The quality of the KidFit Pillow is exceptional, made of firm memory foam giving support to the neck, with a very soft cover that cushions the head in a size that is suitable to my toddler ensuring a safe and restful sleep.
Before my daughter graduated to using a pillow, I did some online research fully expecting to find kid-friendly designs out there, mainly for size, safety, and allergy reasons, but I was very surprised that my search efforts brought up minimal results. It is extremely difficult to find such a product in Canada! Without being a pillow expert, without knowing any true benefits of pillow design, common sense should suggest that a kid-friendly design should certainly exist and should certainly be in high demand by parents everywhere. It is shocking to discover that this doesn't seem to be the case. Such a wide variety of children's products seem to have specialized safety designs; it just makes sense that a product as personal as a pillow, and a product that effects sleep (unarguably, one of the most obsessed-over-issues by parents of small children) should be purchased with the same or greater level of concern and research that is put into the purchase of so many other children's health products. Consider it a success to discover the KidFit Pillow product line that delivers a promise to support your child's small size and growing needs, as well as provide great health benefits through quality and design.
When I first took the KidFit Pillow out of the packaging, my immediate thought was, ?it?s a hard pillow!? I?m not going to lie, but I thought it was stiff ? too stiff. The centre of the pillow is memory foam, with a fluffy layer surrounding it. The outside of the pillow is a soft, supple fabric. But, the best way to test a pillow is to lay on it! And that?s when I realized how comfortable it was. And I wasn?t the only one ? my LO loves to lay on her KidFit pillow and I have to believe it?s because it molds to her head. You will need a toddler size pillow case for it, or you can use it without, like I have been. The pillow is machine washable, which I think is a huge bonus, especially during cold and flu season. The pillow retails for $69.99, which I immediately thought was way too expensive, but if you compare the price with the cost of an adult pillow, it?s right on track. Adult pillows can go all the way up to $250+, and the cost of a great night?s sleep is worth it. It?s something you used on a daily basis. I think it?s justified.
