This is a tried and true simple recipe. They’ll never know they’re getting their protein, greens and vitamins!

Ingredients:

5 frozen strawberries

½ banana, sliced

1 tsp vanilla

ND Shake™ KIDS powder, vanilla flavour (amount according to your child’s age)

250 mL (1 cup) rice milk or organic milk

Put all ingredients into a high powered blender, pulse until smooth. Add more milk  to adjust consistency to your child’s preference. Serve immediately.

Who doesn’t love an old fashioned chocolate milkshake? Try this protein-rich snack that is packed with greens and a multivitamin after school or as dessert. You can even freeze them into popsicles for a  real treat!

Ingredients:

1 banana, sliced

1 tsp vanilla

ND Shake(™) KIDS powder, chocolate flavour (amt according to your child’s age)

2 tsps cocoa powder

250 mL (1 cup) rice milk or organic milk

Put all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk to adjust consistency to your child’s preference. Serve immediately.

TIP: Bruised bananas? Slice them and throw them into the freezer so you have  ice-cold bananas on hand for your smoothies!
