How to Make Snow Ice Cream

I grew up in Texas and for those that are from Texas, you know that we do not get a lot of snow here and when we do get snow it is normally ice or flutters. When I was growing up, the few times we would get snow, my best memory was when my mom made snow ice cream. She never disappointed us and always had it ready before we could even ask for it. The taste of the snow ice cream was so amazing that we always asked for seconds. As a mom, I still live in Texas and we’ve only had 2-3 really good snow falls, but each time it snows I make sure to treat my girls to some amazing snow ice cream. Since I think that this ice cream tastes amazing and creates a great memory, I thought I would share with you how to make snow ice cream.

How to Make Snow Ice Cream

What you will need:

8-10 cups of CLEAN snow

1 cup of milk

1/3 c sugar

1 tsp  to 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

optional toppings: chocolate chips, m&m’s, sprinkles, etc..

Steps:

Mix all ingredients together, but mix the snow in last

The ice cream should be light and fluffy, if it’s too watery, grab more snow

The Snow Ice Cream melts fast, so serve immediately

If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow or if you live in an area where you randomly get snow, I encourage that you make Snow Ice Cream. It is so delicious and will most definitely create a lot of memories.
