I recently dyed my hair bright red, and my red hair has left me nothing but issues in my bath tub, leaving stains EVERYWHERE! After a little bit of looking around on Pinterest, and a little bit LOT of experimenting cleaning the house, I have come up with my favorite version of “tub scrub”. I use this to clean EVERYTHING, not just the tub. It cleans baseboards beautifully, and many other things around the house like bathroom and kitchen floors, the toilet, sinks and leather. May is always so busy for us with my parents coming to town, and all of the birthdays we have, so I always like to get a head start on my cleaning, and because I like lists, I always create a Spring Cleaning Checklist to get me stared, and keep me on track.
Spring cleaning doesn’t need to involve buying all sorts of different cleaners to get the job done. I like to have a few basic things on hand, and I am able to make my cleaners and have a house that would definitely pass a white glove test! All you really need to keep a clean house and get the most out of your spring cleaning is:
– dawn dish soap
– baking soda
– borax
– a big bucket
– windex/window cleaner
– all purpose cleaner
– sponges
– paper towels
– lots of old towels and cleaning rags
This tub scrub can be mixed up with a little bit of water and a cup of all purpose cleaner to scrub anything around your house – use it to wash your baseboards and to get all those grimy little handprints off of the walls!
