As parents, it is important that we give our children a break from regularly scheduled events such as sports, arts, and other organized functions. This summer, focus on activities that encourage unstructured outdoor play and help kids of all ages to develop independence, creativity and self-confidence. Old School and New-School activities can be used to encourage individual and team leadership skills, environmental awareness, and problem solving skills in a non-competitive environment. We also have some great destination ideas for aunts, uncles, grandparents and other family members to get involved in.
