Newton Crib Mattress

We purchased this mattress back in 2016 for my first born. I didn’t know then how “real” the worry would be with a new baby. The Newton mattress gave me peace of mind that her crib was a safe space to sleep from day one. We kept it for baby number two and I sleep soundly knowing he is safe as well. I love that the cover zips off for washing and that it can go into the washing machine. The best crib mattress I have ever used! I cannot say enough good things about the Newton crib mattress. When I received the mattress last week I planned on letting my son (age 3.5) sleep on it for a few nights then let my daughter (age 5 months) sleep on it. My son loved it so much and slept noticeably better so I just couldn't bring myself to switch it out on him! We call it his "comfy new bed". There are a few different aspects of this mattress that make it a game changer for crib sleeping. I'll start with the biggest for my son. Given his age, he knows when a bed is comfortable or hard. When I switched his old standard crib mattress out for the Newton crib mattress he could tell how much more comfortable it was. It has more "give" to it. Newton says it "has the perfect level of cushy firmness". That's exactly it, supportive yet comfortable. Aside from the comfort of the mattress, I love that the whole entire mattress is washable. How amazing is that? All you have to do is zip off the fabric cover, take out the inner mattress, and you can wash the cover in your washing machine. The inner mattress can be washed off in your shower or tub. I can say goodbye to covering my crib mattress with a plastic mattress protector or worrying about "accidents" that may happen and stay forever inside the mattress. With the Newton, I can wash the whole thing! I know that my family will get 4 good quality years out of this mattress and because it is such amazing quality and incredibly durable, I'll be able to pass it on to another family member that's starting their own family and be able to tell them that this is the best mattress for their baby. The crib mattress that Newton has created here seems like it is going to be the first of a new wave of crib mattresses and we'll look back on the mass market crib mattresses that are out now and say "good riddance" to their springs, foam, glue, latex and allergens.

I have only had this product for a few days but from my experience it seems like a good quality product.

This mattress is great from an environmental perspective as well as to ensure you have a durable and clean mattress at all times! This product has an opportunity to be usable for several children since it's easy to clean.
