What parent testers had to say:
Hours of fun for my kids, they love it. I got this Pop-a-Balls Drop & Pop Ball Pit for my 10 months old and 2.5 years old. Set up was easy, it does need batteries (not included) and a screw driver, but everything is very straight forward. It has motion sensor here and there so for example when the ball go through the hoop it will play interactive song (numbers, animals, words of encouragement). The size of the ball pit is enough for both kids to sit inside. The pit itself is very lightweight and foldable, makes it easy to transport. The fabric material is very thin though so with kids crawling in and out it will deform and spring back to form with a little push. My older son can go through every single feature without my help and he also understood the interactive songs well. My younger daughter loves to grab the ball and throw it randomly, she would clap along with the song, she would also crawl in and out the ball pit on her own. Overall we love this ball pit and would recommend it to anyone within the age range. #gotitfree
Overall this is a great little toy my 16mo enjoys playing with. She figured out the slide and putting balls into the net very quickly and was quite happy to open and close the slide and watch the balls go down for some time. It took her a bit to figure out the pop since she didn't apply enough force at force. Once she figured out the pressure of the big pedal she loved the pop feature. For older babies the ball "pit" wasn't as necessary and she preferred to play with it independent of the pit. The flashing lights can be distracting since they are not tied to any buttons or actions. The toy is a winner :)
In general, we really like this toy, My son enjoy to drop the balls in the hoop very much, and it has useful feature - counting, also we are learning colors using the balls, very convenient. The only minus, that the balls are everywhere!!! If your kids are more calm - thats perfect toy, but if your kids are full of energy, you should expect that probably they will not be sitting calm and playing inside for long.
My little girl who is almost 10 months old definitely loved playing with the pop-a-balls! She loved bopping her head to the music and throwing the balls around. She climbed right into the ball pit and played in there for almost an hour - which is a very long time for our little one who has lots of toys around that she could easily navigate to. This kept her interested and immediately grabbed the attention of our friend's two year old son. My husband and I enjoyed playing with it as well, using the ball popper to pop balls up in the air for her to try and catch. It's definitely going to get a lot of use in our place :) The only negative comments are that is does take up quite a bit of space, doesn't easily pack away, and requires a screw driver and batteries to set it up.
The ball pit immediately captivated my daughter and she stayed that way for the better part of an hour. It's fairly compact, and the pit can store the balls when not in use. It's colourful, fun, and it would make a great addition to floor-time for young ones.
The Pop-a-balls Drop & Pop Ball Pit is a great engaging activity centre for toddlers learning fine motor skills and coordination. All kids love balls so what a great way to include an educational component at play time. My son is currently learning numbers and colours as well as different ball sports, so this ball pit has touched on may of these learning areas. With a quick set up, this ball pit will also be great to take to grandmas house to keep him entertained. Whats best is that this ball pit keeps my son engaged for a good length of time with all of its different functions. I would definitely buy this product for friends and family members with babies. Enjoy!
