Worry Eaters

4.2 out of 5 stars

Worry Eaters are soft, cuddly, plush friends who eat your worries. It's as easy as writing or drawing your worries on a piece of paper, feeding them to your Worry Eater, zip up its mouth and let your Worry Eater hold your worries for you so you don't have to.  Together, you'll get through whatever is troubling you.

At times, childhood worries can be very BIG, and at others, very small.  No matter how big or small the worries, they are all important in the life of a child. Parents and caregivers can help kids learn to manage stress and tackle everyday problems with ease using Worry Eaters as a tool to identify worries, clarify misunderstandings or misconceptions, resolve conflicts and build self esteem, while promoting the development of healthy coping skills.  Kids who can do this develop a sense of confidence and optimism that will help them master life's challenges, big and small.

Worry Eaters allow children of all ages a chance to identify worries and separate themselves from that worry or problem, giving the child some time to "take a break" from carrying the weight of that worry.  This separation, giving the worry to the Worry Eater, allows children the opportunity to look at the worry or problem separate from themselves.  The act of then sharing that worry with a parent, caregiver or trusted friend can help a child problem solve solutions, face that worry, and/or just acknowledge the worry exists.

Great for anxiety

Worry eaters are a cute plush toy that “eat” worries and stressors. It is a great concept that can reduce anxiety, while also acting as a toy and cuddly security blanket. I wish they had alternatives to zippers for mouths, as the teeth can be scratchy if used for cuddling, but otherwise this is a great product!

Worry Eaters are brilliant! My son immediately fell in love with Shnulli when I brought him home. He loved Shnulli's quirky looks and big zipper mouth so much that he immediately was 'promoted' to be one of the few stuffed toys that gets to be in bed with my son. He loved playing with him on a daily basis (that zipper mouth is super fun to hide toys in!), and cuddling him at nights.
Most importantly, when the night came where my son was troubled by some worries, Shnulli did his job as promised. He helped us to put each worry into words, and then choose to put them away in Shnulli's mouth, allowing my son to let go of those worries for the night and go to sleep. I have no doubt Shnulli will continue to be a treasured friend in our household for years to come!

Worry Eaters are fun and lovable characters that kids will welcome to their collection of plush toys. They will enjoy zipping their worries up and using the pouches to hold other treasured objects. (Be careful what you leave lying around the house!) Made of soft, durable material, Worry Eaters would make great gifts for kids who might be looking for companions with whom to share their troubles.
